Blueline Atelier
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 21 August 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how the operator of Blueline Atelier (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use bluelineatelier.com and tools.bluelineatelier.com (together, the “Services”). We currently operate as a simple solo operator. Until an entity is formed, the controller’s legal name and postal address remain placeholders.
Who is responsible
The controller of personal data for the Services is the operator of Blueline Atelier.
Legal name: [Legal name — placeholder until an entity is formed].
Postal address: [Postal address — placeholder].
Privacy contact: toti.sketches@gmail.com. Use this address for access, deletion, and other privacy requests.
What we collect
We do not require an account. We do not operate a tools API that stores your projects on our servers. Most tool data never leaves your browser.
- Tool data in your browser: history, templates, notes, and preferences are stored in localStorage under the keys listed below. We do not upload that data to our servers.
- Hosting logs: Vercel, which hosts the sites, may process technical data such as IP address, user-agent, and request metadata as needed to deliver the pages.
- Analytics: we use Vercel Analytics for aggregated page-view metrics on the tools site and on the studio portfolio. We do not send project names, notes, or calculation inputs to Analytics.
- Consent: the tools site loads Termly’s consent management platform so you can accept or reject non-essential cookies and similar technologies. Termly may set its own cookies and record your choice.
- Portfolio content: project pages on the studio site are served with help from Strapi Cloud, our content host.
- Support and contact: if you email us (including via mailto links), we receive whatever you send in that message.
- Payments: if you click Buy Me a Coffee, you leave our site and Buy Me a Coffee’s terms and privacy policy apply to that transaction. We do not process cards on our sites.
- Fonts: the tools site bundles Geist and Anek Kannada with the page. The UI library also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address when a page loads. The studio site uses Geist. Termly’s banner script loads on the tools site; we do not add extra advertising pixels in this version.
Browser storage keys
The tools write only to your device. You can remove this data with Clear all local data under Privacy in each tool’s settings, or by clearing site data in your browser. The keys we use are:
- bpg-tool-preferences — Building Program Generator units, precision, and display preferences
- bpg-tool-history — Building Program Generator saved programs, names, and notes
- bpg-tool-templates — Building Program Generator custom templates and percent chips
- scale-tool-preferences — Scale Conversion units, scales, papers, and display preferences
- scale-tool-history — Scale Conversion conversion history
- scale-tool-tables — Scale Conversion tables view preferences
- cmc-tool-preferences — Concrete Volume Calculator units, precision, batching, and display preferences
- cmc-tool-history — Concrete Volume Calculator saved estimates, names, and notes
How we use information
We use the information above to operate and improve the Services, understand which pages are visited, respond to messages you send, and keep the sites secure. We do not use tool notes or saved programs for advertising because we do not receive them.
Sale and sharing
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that ever changes, we will update this policy before we start.
Analytics and consent
Vercel Analytics collects page-view data so we can see aggregate traffic. Processing typically occurs in the United States. Retention follows Vercel’s product documentation.
On tools.bluelineatelier.com we show Termly’s cookie consent banner. Termly Auto Blocker is enabled so non-essential scripts are intended to stay blocked until you consent. You can change your choice later with Consent Preferences in the footer or under Privacy in each tool’s settings, which opens Termly’s preference center.
The studio site (bluelineatelier.com), including the portfolio, does not currently load this banner. If you do not want Analytics there, you can use browser tools that block it, or avoid loading those pages.
Processors and international transfers
We use Vercel for hosting and analytics, Termly for the tools-site consent banner, and Strapi Cloud for studio portfolio content. Buy Me a Coffee is a third party you choose to visit. Those vendors may process data in the United States and other countries. Where they offer Standard Contractual Clauses or a similar transfer tool, that is the mechanism they describe for EU data.
Signing each vendor’s data-processing addendum is an operator task. This draft names them so you can see who is involved.
Your rights and how to delete data
If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. If you are a California resident, you may have rights to know, delete, and correct personal information, and to opt out of sale or sharing (we do not sell or share for cross-context ads).
Because we do not keep project accounts, a typical access or deletion request will result in: we hold no copy of your tool history on our servers; you can remove local copies with Clear all local data or by clearing site data; hosting logs are controlled by Vercel on their retention schedule.
To make a request, email toti.sketches@gmail.com. We aim to respond within 45 days. We may need to verify that the request is yours. We cannot remotely wipe another person’s browser.
Children
The Services are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information on systems we control (for example, a support email), we will delete it. We cannot erase data that remains only on that child’s device.
If we start a mailing list
We do not offer a newsletter signup on these sites today. If we start a mailing list within the coming months, we will collect your email only if you opt in, tell you the purpose (studio and tools updates), name the email vendor when chosen, and provide a way to unsubscribe. We will not add addresses harvested from bug reports, contact emails, or other mailto threads. In the EU we would not email under-16s without verified consent as required by applicable law.
Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use of the Services after an update means you should read the new text. Last updated: 21 August 2026.
